Charging Order

If you know that the debtor owns a property (if you don't, we can again help you via our debtor tracing service), and you have a money judgment we apply to get a charging order on the property.

A charging order is an order from the court placed on a debtor's property (house or land).

If they owe money and the money is not secured, we can request that the court place a charging order on the debtor's property so that when the property is sold they will have to pay that debt off first before any of the proceeds are given to the debtor.

The fee is fixed and includes all solicitor and court fees.

Cost £499.00 (incl. VAT)(any hearing date set down incurs additional fee of £141 incl. VAT for an advocate to attend)

"My tenant had left my property, lost his job and had no means to pay my debt. I instructed DRUK who found out that he owned a property and had sufficient equity in it for me to put a charge on it. When the property was sold I got my debt paid in full! Thank you DR-UK. " Mr William Okowogwu - Private Landlord
